McDonnell Signs Telemedicine Bill - 4.5.10
Governor McDonnell held a bill signing ceremony for legislation
that will expand the practice of telemedicine in Virginia. The
new law paves the way for greater use of services that could
potentially provide more access to specialists, curtail the costs
and trouble of transporting patients, and even save lives.
Virginia Public Radio's Anne Marie Morgan reports from the State
Capitol.

George Allen Comments on Offshore Drilling - 4.2.10
Many Virginia officials are applauding President Obama's
decision to allow offshore drilling along Virginia's coast, but
one former Governor and Senator isn't getting so excited. George
Allen believes it may be the President's bargaining chip for
passage of cap and trade legislaton. But Allen said during an
energy symposium in Richmond the nation must be more proactive in
reaching its energy independence. Virginia Public Radio's Tommie
McNeil reports from the State Capitol.
