Coming soon.

RADIO IQ's 91.5 signal from Bear Den Mountain near Waynesboro has moved just a tad down the FM band to 88.1 to better serve listeners in the Crozet, Waynesboro, Afton areas - and beyond - to include Staunton.

This will only affect current listening in the Afton, Crozet, Waynesboro portion of RADIO IQ's listening area and only for listeners receiving RADIO IQ on 91.5.

If you have any questions about the change, please contact WVTF/RADIO IQ program director Rick Mattioni.

Thank you!

The WVTF-RADIO IQ End-0f-Fiscal-Year Fund Drive was a successful campaign to help offset our revenue losses and to keep your public radio programming strong.

You are indeed a remarkable community and thanks to all who make this service possible.

As of Monday morning, June 14th, our on-air campaign has raised just under $59,000.

Your support to keep public radio programming as good as it can be is greatly appreciated.  Your gifts throughout the year do make a difference.

Sincerely,

Glenn Gleixner
General Manager

Radio IQ can now be heard in the Bristol area due to a power increase of WEHC, 90.7 in Emory.  WEHC, owned by Emory & Henry College, carries Radio IQ programming as part of a partnership with the Virginia Tech Foundation, the owners of WVTF/Radio IQ, and the liberal arts college located in Washington County.  The signal boost, from 500 to 9,000 watts, is a win-win for WEHC which produces its own local content and for Radio IQ which is the region's only all news public radio station.
