Radio IQ can now be heard in the Bristol area due to a power increase of WEHC, 90.7 in Emory.  WEHC, owned by Emory & Henry College, carries Radio IQ programming as part of a partnership with the Virginia Tech Foundation, the owners of WVTF/Radio IQ, and the liberal arts college located in Washington County.  The signal boost, from 500 to 9,000 watts, is a win-win for WEHC which produces its own local content and for Radio IQ which is the region's only all news public radio station.

With the BBC's Newshour, you get an in depth take on what's been happening in the world - in just an hour of your time.  Tune to Newshour with Owen Bennettt-Jones each weekday morning at 7:00 on Radio IQ.

Now you can get your news on the go!

RADIO IQ has partnered with NPR Digital Media to offer two new services for public radio listeners -- mobile web and mobile voice. Get regional and national headlines, play the Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me news quiz and more! Read more.
